Rare Vintage Signed Gump's Green Jade Jadeite Aventurine Dangle Drop Earrings
These exquisite earrings are done in a green gemstone. The tops of the earrings are round stones and the bottoms are teardrop pear-shaped. They were made in Japan. They measure 1 3/8 long.
The bottoms of the teardrops measures 1/4W at widest point. These earrings are set in a gold vermeil, which is a gold-plated silver. The piece that attches the pear drops to the round part are both marked, GUMP.
" The backs of the earrings are marked, "JAPAN SILVER. They are vintage and have been stored away in a safe in a non-smoking home.
They could be nephrite jade, aventurine or something entirely different... They are screw back earrings. There is no damage to the gemstones, but there is wear to the gold vermeil.
